Welcome to the Christ Renews His Parish web site for Church of the Ascension of Overland Park.
CRHP is a program designed to bring parish members together in Christ and emphasizes your continued growth in Catholic Christian life. It initiates this through small group participation. During a retreat weekend held at the parish you will have the opportunity to make new friendships with other members of the Ascension Parish Community. Ascension participants will retreat each Spring and Fall. See the Registration page for dates. Fellow parishioners will conduct the weekend. Father is the Spiritual Director. The retreat weekend will include some group activities and interactions, some prayer and reflections shared by members the parish team. You may expect an opportunity, in a relaxed setting, to hear Christ's call to you and to respond to His call to a deeper and closer relationship with God.
