We are all called to continue in our faith journey. No one can ever be satisfied with their current understanding of our faith nor with one's current relationship with God. We are called to grow in relationship with God and with each other.
Christ Renews His Parish is a copyrighted parish renewal process that has existed since 1969 and been recommended by the renewal office of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops. It has been used as the primary instrument of personal & parish renewal in over 1225 parishes in 36 states in the United States and in four other countries.
CRHP starts within a parish because the pastor is convinced that CRHP will help him with his ministry as listed in Canon 519:
Canon 519. The parish priest is the proper pastor of the parish entrusted to him. He exercises the pastoral care of the community entrusted to him under the authority of the diocesan Bishop, whose ministry of Christ he is called to share, so that for this community he may carry out the offices of teaching, sanctifying and ruling with the cooperation of other priests or deacons and with the assistance of lay members of Christ's faithful, in accordance with the law.
CRHP starts within a parish only with the initial blessing, support, and presence of the priest pastor. CRHP continues long term within a parish only with the continued blessing, support, and presence of the priest pastor.
We are excited and thankful for Father's support for this renewal process.
